St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Newbury is situated in the heart of the town and serves the parishes of St. Joseph's, St Francis de Sales, Wash Common and the Sacred Heart, Lambourn (incorporating the Mass centre in Hungerford). It is a one form entry school, children join in the September of the academic year in which they will be five and move onto secondary school at the end of Y6.

St. Joseph's is led and managed by the senior leadership team which comprises the Headteacher, Mrs Alison Webster, and the Deputy Head, Mr Jamie Carroll, in conjunction with and supported by a governing body of 10 additional people.

All members of the school family are proud of their Catholic faith and the fundamental part it plays in their daily lives. There is a great sense of community within the school family and a true sense of belonging to our local parish communities too.

St Josephs has annual visitors mornings from mid September to November, details in the local press, parishes and the school. We also welcome visitors at other times of the year please contact the school to make an appointment.

Before and After School Provision
We are delighted to be able to offer children from our school the opportunity to attend sessions at our Link Club.
The morning session starts at 8.00a.m. and the afternoon session is between 3.00p.m. and 6.00 p.m.

The children enjoy a range of fun activities and a quiet area is made available to the children to complete homework tasks if they so wish.
